Jordan Mackampa has a voice that will stop you in your tracks.

Born in the Republic of Congo and raised in London from an early age, Mackampa grew up singing gospel in church – music that shaped not just his voice but the warmth and emotional depth that runs through everything he creates. By twelve he was writing his own songs, and he has spent the years since building a devoted following on the strength of a smooth, soulful sound that feels both timeless and entirely his own.

His debut album Foreigner drew on his experiences arriving in England as a young immigrant. His second, Welcome Home, Kid! – released in 2024 – turned that lens inward, telling the story of how he found his way to self-worth through decades of growth and hard-won lessons. Together they mark the journey of an artist who writes from the deepest part of his experience, and whose music has the rare quality of making you feel less alone.
